Don’t Look To Far Down The Line

By June 1, 2016 No Comments

A lot of surfers look to far down the line and try to attack sections that are three, four, five metres ahead of them.

Whereas directly in front of them, one metre away there is a lip that is an easy to attain target rather than the target that is five metres away.

The target that is five metres away often leads the surfer into overextending and coming unstuck before striking the target.

Whereas if you were to target the lip that is within a metre or two from you, that is an easy strike rate and you can reach that target comfortably and in a quicker time which speeds your surfing up.

So make sure you are looking at targets within striking distance and not too far down the line.
